The Burton Regatta Organising Committee is continuing to monitor the forecast hot weather conditions ahead of the regatta.

The safety and wellbeing of all competitors, volunteers, officials and spectators remains our highest priority. We are reviewing the forecast and guidance on an ongoing basis and will continue to assess any potential impact on racing.

 

Should temperatures continue to rise or conditions become such that additional measures are required, the Committee may consider amendments to the racing programme, including adjustments to the course or, if necessary, restricting entries to help ensure the event can be delivered safely.

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Any decisions will be made in line with the latest weather forecasts and safety guidance, and we will communicate any updates to clubs and competitors as soon as it is practical to do so.
