Burton Head

Burton Head is our head race event. It will be held on Sunday 4th October 2026.

The main race is 3,500 metres downstream along a beautiful stretch of the River Trent. We also run a shorter 2,000 metre course for some junior and low CRI rowers.

The event has been running since 2007 and is run from the Burton Leander and Trent Rowing Clubs' boathouses on Stapenhill Road.

Over the years Burton Head has become an enjoyable trip for local Clubs as the sport enters the Head season each year.
